    Every year, the largest festival of its kind in Ireland brings the best of international art to Belfast and international attention to the city’s dynamic arts practitioners. The Festival brings top class events and artistes from around the world, which would not otherwise be seen in Northern Ireland. to multiple venues around the city.

    The Festival covers the widest range of art forms including theatre, dance, classical music, literature, jazz, comedy, visual arts, folk music and popular music. Recent Festivals have included artists as diverse as Alfred Brendel, Akram Khan Dance Company, Ornette Coleman, Philip Glass, leading Japanese theatre company Ishinha, Okaras Koursonouvas Theatre Company, The Royal National Theatre, the Royal Shakespeare Company, José Cura, Carlos Nunez, The Buena Vista Masters, The Gypsy Kings, the Stephen Petronio Dance Company, Yoko Ono, Eddie Izzard and Kylie Minogue.
