G.P. Gallivan

1920 - 2003

G.P. (Gerry) Gallivan was born in Limerick. Having spent some time in England as a young man, he returned to Ireland in 1946 to take up a job in Shannon airport. In addition to his many stage plays, Gallivan produced a large number of scripts for radio and television. Dramatic works not listed here include Alas, Poor Yorick (1953) and Beggar and Bloom (2000).
