Pascal was born in Manchester and was brought up there and in Blackpool. She attended the E15 Acting School as a teenager and worked as an actor for four years. After university, she became the first woman to direct at the National Theatre with her adaptation of Dorothy Parker’s writings, Men Seldom Make Passes. She has worked extensively with Belfast-born playwright Seamus Finnegan. See www.pascal-theatre.com.
