The reception lounge of a hotel in Belfast.
In the foyer of a Belfast hotel, with bombs exploding outside, an exchange of opinions takes place between a Protestant barman, a Catholic head waiter, an American psychologist, a British army officer and an atheist pop star, who is shot dead by gunmen from the IRA and the UVF because of his lack of allegiance to either side.
Cast doubling is possible. See original production for details. The original production also featured four musicians, three of whom also took acting roles.
