Alternative Future was originally presented alongside 'Monday Night, Little Ireland, North Of England' by Glenn Patterson, 'The Waiting List' by Owen McCafferty and 'What The Eye Doesn't See' by Ruth Hooley (all listed separately) under the umbrella title 'Angels With Split Voices'. All four monologues addressed the theme 'identity and place'.
