  • Synopsis

Steevens, young architect, artistic, an idealist - is newly appointed to the division. Toady - who has had to work his way up through the division without the benefit of a University Education - takes an immediate dislike to Steevens. Whereas Charlie - who is the least promoted, longest serving member of the division - sees something of his younger self and his soul is stirred. When Steevens is scapegoated for a project the division has mishandled, it is up to Charlie to help him out. But his idealist ways are too far in the past to be resurrected and he fails to act.
