Set in Rathmines from 1925 - 1952.
Laverty's play follows the fortunes and misfortunes of the Farrell Family from courtship to old age. The Farrells just manage to get through and no more, facing their old age living in the flat in which they started their marriage. The frustrations of life are exposed when doubts and regrets are raised, as people and opportunities appear to have passed them by,
