    When a Belfast couple discover that their elderly neighbour has been hoarding her meagre wealth in an old stocking, they try to wrest the money from her by exerting ‘gentle’ persuasion. In the process, the woman dies of shock. Attempting to stage this as a suicide, the neighbours flee and leave the gas on in the house.
