| Pat Ingoldsby was born in Dublin in 1942. He became a well-known figure in 1980s, due in no small part to his RTÉ children's television programmmes 'Pat's Hat' and 'Pat's Chat'. He has written plays both for the stage and for the radio and was a regular contributor to the Evening Press in the 1990s. His radio plays include 'The Dark Days of Denny Lacey', 'Fire is Far Enough' and 'Liffey Ever Is', all broadcast on RTÉ Radio One. Ingoldsby is best known as a poet and observer of contmeporary Dublin life. He lives in Clontarf. |
