    Based on J. Sheridan Le Fanu's ghost story, Colonel Ultor De Lacy appoints himself the Avenger for perceived disloyalties perpetrated against his family, but there is another who seeks vengeance, the Man in Spanish Dress, this time the target are the de Lacys themselves.
