    Two strangers meet by chance after a swim. Ivy watches the tide go in and out, dreaming of a sea god to take her away from her drab life. JC dreams of an exciting life across the sea in America. But both are trapped in their lives. The Tide is a darkly comic exploration of the lengths the unlikely pair go to in order to make their dreams a reality.
