  • Synopsis

    Clara is six years old. It is the evening before she enters 'first class'. As she and her parents prepare for school, Clara is distracted by her imaginary friend Kirkle, who causes much confusion and hilarity. They travel together to the imaginary worlds of the jungle, the underwater, the celestial and the mechanical, each with its own entertaining and inventive characters. Kirkle helps Clara to understand the different styles of language they encounter on these madcap journeys.
