Declan Burke-Kennedy
Walter, a writer and urban intellectual, goes to live in splendid isolation in the west of Ireland. His peace is shattered by the arrival Richard, the original owner of the cottage, and conflict between the writer and his unwelcome, menacing guest ensues.
