  • Synopsis

    The scene is set on a island of 300 ultra-superstitious people on the western coast. An American anthropologist comes to the island and lives there for 9 months. In that time he manages to make himself extremely unpopular and eventually he is murdered. An inspector and policeman from the mainland try to discover the murderer but no one is co-operating with the investigation. The superstition of 2,000 years, mixed up in a crazy way with Catholic piety comes face to face with the police.
