  • Synopsis

    Two farmers in the West of Ireland, one a prosperous agriculturist the other a struggling man with little or no hope of getting out of his difficulties. The rich man's son is in love with the poor man's daughter, his father opposed to the marriage. The girl is deeply in love with the young man but she wants to head to America and can't see herself living the life of a farmer's wife.
