    Based on the historical 17th Century character, Cathal Bui – a rakish poet, this play is set in an amateur drama club whose leading actor is ‘devoted to the grape’ and too fond of losing money on the horses and his Director who is despairing of ever having a complete rehearsal with a full cast before the Opening Night in two days time.
