  • Synopsis

    An anti-war drama set in a lighthouse during WW2. There are three men on duty, the Keeper (whose son is a sailor), the Radio Officer and a navy Captain. A message is relayed over the radio to turn off the light because it is being used by the enemy bombers who are targeting an arms factory next to where the Captain's family live. The Captain turns off the light and a ship is lost at sea - causing the death of the Keeper's son.
