OVERVIEW

    Oscar Productions was the production arm of the Oscar Theatre, Sandymount, Dublin. Originally the Ritz Cinema, The Oscar Theatre was converted for theatrical use in 1977. The Oscar was one of the few theatres in the world to be owned and managed by actors. The theatre also hosted the Oscar Mime Company and Young Oscar, creative drama workshops for children.
