    Skehana was established in 1991 (as Skehana Productions), initially to produce Mysogynist, written by playwright Michael Harding, and featuring Tom Hickey in a solo performance. It continues to develop relationships with established writers and actors, allowing them to work in an open and collaborative environment where new writing can be explored and existing texts can be revisited and revitalised.
