Proinsias Ó Maonaigh

1922 - 2006

Better known as Francie Mooney, he was born in Gweedore in 1922. He was renowned as a fiddler and a teacher. He was involved with Aisteoirí Ghaoth Dobhair for whom he acted, wrote scripts and composed music.
