Fiona Doyle is a playwright from Co. Kerry. In 2014 her play, Coolatully, was the winner of the Papatango New Writing Prize at the Finborough Theatre in London and Deluge was the winner of the Eamon Keane Full-Length Play Award in Ireland. Doyle was the first recipient of Irish Theatre Institute’s Phelim Donlon Playwright’s Bursary and Residency in 2015/16. In 2018, she was shortlisted for the Susan Smith Blackburn Prize for her play, The Strange Death of John Doe. She has also been the recipient of a Cill Rialaig Artist residency, a Peggy Ramsay Foundation grant, and a MacDowell Colony Fellowship. Her work is published by Nick Hern Books and Methuen Drama.
