Dillie Keane

1952 -

Portsmouth-born Dillie Keane studied music at Trinity College Dublin, followed by a three-year acting course at LAMDA. In 1983, she founded Fascinating Aïda, with Marilyn Cutts and Lizzie Richardson. Keane also writes for radio. She worked on the BBC satirical series Stop the Week (1983-92) and as co-writer and presenter of Call Me When You're in Something, which won the Prix Monte Carlo. She has published two books: The Joy of Sequins: The Fascinating Aïda Songbook (1995), and Fascinating Who? (1985).
