John McDonnell

Born in Kilsaran, Co. Louth, McDonnell was associated with the Group Theatre in Belfast where he had quite a number of his comedies produced. 'All the King's Horses' was produced by the Abbey in March 1961 before the Group Theatre produced later that year.
