Lisa McGee was born in Derry and studied Drama at Queens University Belfast. She was Tinderbox Theatre Company’s first writer on attachment 2005/2006 and was nominated by the National Theatre for inclusion in The 50 - a yearlong new writing programme with the BBC and the Royal Court Theatre, London. Her writing for theatre includes The Young Man with the Cream Tarts (co-written with Declan Feenan) and JUMP!, both for Sneaky Productions, and How To Get To Heaven From Belfast (ISDA Festival). Her writing for television includes: Totally Frank (Endemol, Channel 4); and for film, The Killing and The Meeting (dir. Tom Daley).
