1912 - 2002

Novelist, playwright, translator, prolific children's and teenagers' writer. His books include 'Bran' and 'Píobaire Hamelin' for children and 'Scáth a Chéile' and 'Na Rapairí' for teenagers. He also wrote in English and won many Oireachtas awards.
