Pádraig Ó Bróithe

1897 - 1949

He was born in Dublin. He understood the importance of engaging the interest of children in the Irish language. He wrote at least twenty five books (including plays) and organised events for children. He also wrote plays for adults, 'Réidhteach na Ceiste'(1951) and 'Cinnte' (1954) and performed in some productions with An Comhar Drámaíochta.
