Pádraig Standún

1946 -

Pádraig Standún was born in 1946 in Co. Mayo. He is a priest and much of his literary focus is on issues relating to the Church. He has published a number of novels, including Stigmata (1995) and Saoire (1997). Taibhdhearc na Gaillimhe produced a stage version of Stigmata in 1996. He has also published a volume of poetry, An Chéad Cló (q.v.).
