Born in Sligo and brought up in Dublin, Quinn trained and worked as an actress in the 1980's. In 1987, she wrote her first radio play 'The Happiness Quotient'. She has had numerous short stories published and broadcast on Radio 4 and RTE. 'Stolen Child' is her first full-length play.
