Out the Back Door is a physical, dynamic and non-verbal theatre piece for families which uses miniatures, soundscape and live performance. The show explores the world as it is for children (one part reality to many parts imagination) and the relationship between space and imagination for a child. The show journeys from the unbridled possibility of the outdoors to the thrill of the forbidden on the roof via the confinement of the kitchen and the magical secrecy of the landing.
