  In a town that has sacrificed its sense of community for the price of new-found affluence and freedom, this play examines what happens when people sit on the fence rather than challenge the issues that face them. Grand is a thriller set in modern rural Ireland against the backdrop of the Celtic Tiger. Marie is receiving anonymous erotic letters. At first she is flattered and keeps the information to herself, but when the letters become more and more threatening she begins to suspect every man in the town.
