  • Synopsis

Declan works nights. His wife Gloria keeps a washing line of pots in the kitchen and could be back in Herefordshire if she wanted. He is convinced she is having an affair with the apothecary. His mother Maggie lives in a granny flat, listening to the deaths on the local radio (she is uncertain whether her missing husband is dead). When they sleep the women have scandalous dreams; Declan never sleeps, but turns into a musical instrument. Gloria, to stop his outburst, turns to acoustics.
