Maurice Davin-Power
Set in Ireland in the 12th Century.
This pageant retells the story of Strongbow's relationship with Ireland. Having been deposed as King of Leinster, Dermot MacMurrough returns to Ireland. Whilst away he sought help from English barons. Richard de Clare (known as Strongbow) agreed to lead an army to restore Dermot to his throne on the understanding that he will marry Dermot's daughter and become king of Leinster when Dermot dies.
