William Butler Yeats
'The Resurrection' was first published in the Adelphi journal in 1927. Both the journal and the original playscript can be viewed at the National Library of Ireland.
Arriving at the scene of the resurrection of Christ, three learned men - a Greek, a Hebrew and a Syrian -engage in an intellectual debate on the nature of reason and belief.
