Martin McDonagh
A dingy American hotel room, the present day.
The first of McDonagh's plays to be set in America.
Take a man searching for his missing hand, two con artists out to make a few hundred bucks, and an overly curious hotel clerk, and the rest is up for grabs.
Carmichael has been searching for his missing left hand for over a quarter of a century. Enter two bickering lovebirds with a hand to sell, and a hotel clerk with an aversion to gunfire, and the stage is set for a rollercoaster of love, hate, desperation and hope.
