Sráidbhaile i gCo. Shligigh (1874).
Corry Kinchela has stolen the family estate from Robert Ffolliott and had him transported to Australia as a convict. With the help of the 'Seachrán', himself and Robert manage to make their way home. Moya, the priest's niece falls in love with the 'Seachrán', although she is by no means blind to his faults. A British Officer, Captain Molineux, is given the task of arresting Robert but he and Robert's sister, Claire fall hopelessly in love. The play ends happily.
