Elizabeth Connor
The entire action of the play takes place in the drawing-room of Mount Prospect in Bridgetown, from spring in one year, to the following spring, to autumn later that year.
Connor's first play, adapted from her novel of the same name, reveals the character of a destructive widow who uses her husband's will to advance her own son over two children from her husband's first marriage.
