• Synopsis

  A large-scale dance and theatre ritual named after ‘Nobodaddy,’ the destructive divinity who appears in several of William Blake’s notebook poems. In contrast to Blake's poems, the work is an ode to the peacemakers and the bringers of the good things of life that creates a vibrant, multidisciplinary experience steeped in the culture of Corca Dhuibhne. With scenes that blend from one to the next depicting a lifetime’s transitionary periods, including death, Nobodaddy plays around and with the concept of time itself.
