A small town in County Wexford, the present day.
Based on the short story of the same name, 'One Is Not a Number' tells the story in monlogue form of the tragic Matty Larkin. A social outcast from childhood, Matty tells of his isolation from the community and of his unrequited love for local girl Imelda.
