William Lyons
The original production used the alternate title One Woman and Her Dog.
A woman and her dog navigate city homelessness in this playful fringe comedy. Absurd humour, songs, audience interaction, and improvisation punctuate the action, while actors break the fourth wall, ad lib, and add local jokes adapted for the city it is performed in. Influenced by Aristophanes, Brecht, and Panto, the play tackles serious social themes with heart and unpredictability.
