Gary Mitchell
A play for 14-18 year olds about joyriding and punishment beatings.
Who is right? What is right? And who are the appropriate authorities to decide these things? Alan struggles to live in a world where someone's made the rules so that he always loses. From an urban Protestant working-class background, he continually asks: what have I done wrong? And there are plenty of people to provide answers. But looking at the world from his shoes, are those answers relevant? Gary Mitchell's play examines what happens when the law of the land is replaced by the laws of the community.
