Oscar Wilde
The play takes place in the memory of Dorian Gray. Twenty years have passed between Acts 1 and 2.
An adaptation of Oscar Wilde's classic moral fable in which the eponymous Dorian Gray attempts to create eternal youth by storing a portrait of himself in the attic, which ages while he remains unnaturally youthful. As the portrait becomes increasingly distorted by the marks of sin, Dorian Gray is finally confronted with the horrible reality and is faced to accept a devastating moral judgement.
