Michael West
A play for 8-10 year olds.
A group of friends are playing a storytelling game whereby they conjure up a fictitious figure and show each other the adventures they imagine for him. The only rule of their game, is that once an element of the story is told it can’t be reversed. Jack’s adventures culminate in an exciting ramble along cliff tops, which end in his fall to the sea…“and he dies” exclaims Eve. “So now what do we do?” By having to cope with the death of their fictional hero, the characters in the play explore their own feelings and reactions to death.
