    Johnny Hanrahan  John Browne

  • Notes

A musical theatre piece for 6-14 year olds.

  • Synopsis

The play tells the story of the fourth wise man, who is a bit late, far from wise and far from Bethlehem. On his long and difficult journey towards wisdom, he is helped by the Old Man, the Owl and by Maria the servant girl. Eventually he learns the true nature of wisdom and fulfils his destiny. Based on an old Russian Orthodox legend, this musical theatre show draws on the tradition of the Everyman figure and of mystery plays and folk theatre.
