Michael Harding
Ireland, the recent past.
Sour Grapes investigates the male enclosure of the Irish Church, offering an insight into the lives of Irish priests during a time of crisis, rumour, scandal and shame. The play is a study of the fierce tensions between the finest possibilities and the most crippling limitations of lives isolated by the institution they serve.
