    Monday Night In A Country Town is a moving parody of Oirish rural drama. When the neighbour’s husband dies, Old Mikey decides it’s high time that his son took a wife and joined the two farms. But Young Mikey isn’t the sort to go courting and when his father insists he woo the lovely widow, Young Mikey is faced with a choice that ultimately leads to tragedy.
