John Crilley
Christie Crothers' farmhouse on the island of Deglin, eight miles off the coast of Ireland.
A comedy in which published author Robert returns to his native island Deglin, where his father runs a moonshine business. Welcomed home as a success story, he gives an impromptu speech questioning the necessity of drink on the island. This has the result of turning the whole island teetotal, infuriating his father, but after several comic muddles and mix-ups, the islanders decide to return to their old ways.
