Pauline Maguire
A comedy in three acts about young people aspiring to modernise country life. John Thomas, an aging farmer who wants to retire, has a unhappy family. Those who stayed on the farm are fatalistic and lacking in drive while those who migrated to the city are just as badly off. When an attempt to settle his affairs with his family around him fails he leaves the last move up to them.
