A short play on the issue of naming, in which Mrs. Fogarty and Mrs. Rooney fall out over the name to be given to their grandson. As the discussion becomes more heated, each reveals her thinking on the family of the other and home truths are inadvertently blurted out, until, in a dramatic ending, a neighbour enters to announce the sudden tragic death of the child.
