  • Synopsis

    A play of rural life, set in County Down. Hans Mullen, an old farmer, is reluctant to hand over his holding to his son, and permit him to become the master of the house. When a crisis occurs on the farm, and the old man cannot react due to physical incapacity, he is forced to reconsider his situation, and to grant his son the opportunity to begin life on his own account.
