  • Synopsis

A comedy hinging on a fierce battle of wits. Felix Reid is an old-style country bread man who, along with his trusty horse Bob, is known to all. He is challenged by a serious new rival, Sam Bell. A Belfastman, Bell seeks through modern trading methods, not least his up-to-date motor van, to secure the trade of the little community. Felix Reid sets to protecting his business with comic results, confiding throughout in the trusty Bob.
